From the Cherbourg Ferry Port take the second exit at the roundabout, following the signs for Caen and Mont St Michel,. That is straight on, with the petrol station on your left. This is a new link road. Keep on over several roundabouts until you reach the Tourlaville roundabout where you turn left, following the same signs. A huge “Brico Depot” will appear on the right.
Go up the hill and at the top you will reach another roundabout where you turn left on to the N13.You should see the "Auchen" Hypermarket on this roundabout.
Continue on along the N13 dual carriageway for about 20 K, until you reach the D2 exit signposted Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte. Turn right onto this road, and head towards St Sauveur Le Vicomte.
When you reach the outskirts of St Sauveur head into the town, passing the ruined Abbey which should be on the right as you turn right at the small roundabout. Just after passing the Abbey you will come to a set of staggered cross-roads, turn right then immediately left onto the D 15, Port-Bail road.
Approximately five kilometers outside of St Sauveur, you will come to a forest/wood area on your right hand side, stay on this road and travel on for a further 1-2K when you will see on your left a small lane called “Route du Hameau Vasselin”. There is a small white B&B sign with the dove just past the head of the lane. Turn left onto the village lane, travel up to the top of the lane which ends in a "T" junction at the top, turn right, after traveling 30 meters, the entrance to "La Colombe" is the first gateway on the left hand side with another sign with the dove on the gate post. There are two wooden gates and our names are on a wooden plaque on the one on the right.
